Most recently, while working as a Graduate Assistant at The Catholic University of America, Annalisa planned and executed university-wide events including a Thanksgiving Potluck, Culture Picnic, and International Festival. She designed and implemented targeted marketing plans to reach as many students as possible.
Annalisa has over While serving as an AmeriCorps Volunteer and Special Education Aide at Lakeview Charter Academy in Los Angeles, she co-sponsored a student leadership team, of which she advised the events team. She facilitated the coordination and execution of two school-wide dances that drew over 100 students and raised over $400 for the school. After graduating from Boston University, she worked with Boston University Summer Term, and coordinated international student programming throughout the summer, including an Orientation Session and four social events that drew over 100 participants. During her undergraduate study, she worked as a Program Advisor with Boston University Orientation for two years. She assisted in creating promotional materials, coordinating workshops, and billing for over 7,000 guests during Parents Weekend events, as well as coordinated the logistics of Winter Orientation by designing novelty items, requesting catering, organizing student staff, and creating databases of new students and their guests. Additionally while at Boston University, she directed and produced several plays with two student theatre groups. She gained experience creating and distributing promotional materials including posters, tickets, invitations, and programs. Annalisa also served as a director for two weekend retreats and as a producer for another with the Boston University Catholic Center. As a director, she was responsible for all of the programming including designing the theme, coordinating speakers, recruiting volunteers, and leading the retreatants for three days. As a producer, she was responsible for coordinating logistics as well as writing and directing promotional videos and skits. Further, she was invited to lead an annual Christian Unity Event on campus, for which she coordinated programming and emceed for the evening. |
